As promised, I will continue to mark some key points on my travel guide to Costa Rica.
Here are some of the most popular tourist activities in Costa Rica: surfing, scuba diving, biking, fishing.
Surfing in Costa Rica
There are a lot of beaches here that are just perfect for surfing. Both begginers and advanced surfers can find their perfect spot by chosing from: Playa Negra and Playa Grande (in the Guanacaste province), Tamarindo beach, Pavones, Playa del Coco or the beautiful Salsa Brava (on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica).
Scuba Diving in Costa Rica
The biodiversity of Costa Rica is dazzling both on land and underwater. No wonder this country is one of the favorite destinations for scuba diving enthusiasts. Everything from diving equipment, professional PADI courses to great places for diving can be found here.
The best places to watch the underwater wildlife are: Isla del Caño, the Drake Bay or the Nicoya Peninsula (on the Pacific coast) and the Cahuita National Park (on the Caribbean coast).
There are so many beautiful places to see in Costa Rica, that a single holiday here just wouldn’t be enough. But there is a solution: you can see more places in less time – just rent a bicycle (there are plenty of places where you can choose one) and start! In a single day you can see forests, volcanoes, waterfalls and beaches, plus you can pause anytime you want to watch the birds, smell the flowers or take some more pictures.
In Costa Rica, the sport fishing is a kind of national sport and there are many fishermen who boast of fishing world records that were obtained here. Most fishermen come here for recreational fishing in the Pacific or Caribbean, but it’s good to know that you can also fish in the lakes and rivers.
So there you have some tourist activities that you can mark on your travel guide to Costa Rica.
I recommend a holiday in Costa Rica because there are so many interesting tourist attractions and activities you don’t want to miss.
