Palacio Real de Aranjuez, Photo Essay

As promised in our last post, we are now ready to show you the rest of the photos from the Palace of Aranjuez in Spain.
The neoclassical-style Royal Palace of Aranjuez (Palacio Real de Aranjuez) – one of the residences of the King of Spain – is located about 50 km south of Madrid, near the Jardin de la Isla and Jardin del Parterre.

It was a sunny summer afternoon when we took these pictures and we had fun taking them. Enjoy!

Looks like a magnificent home for a king. Its a good thing then that the Spanish people adore their royalty. I especially love the last photo of “the young boy statue.” I am planning see this place in person next year when I am in Spain.

Thanks, Sherry. We plan to visit it again someday too. Hopefully it will not be on a Monday (when the palace is closed), so we can see the interior as well 🙂

  2. Great photos! Looks like you had a gorgeous day for exploring.
