My 7 Links – Our Contribution to the Project

First of all we would like to thank Debbie from European Travelista for the invitation to participate in the My 7 Links project. We were honored by the invitation, especially since our blog is only 10 months old and we feel we still have a lot of work ahead of us.

Anyway, these are the 7 links from our blog that [we think] best match this project’s criteria:

Most beautiful postValentine’s Day In Rome – we chose it because it speaks about one of our favorite (and definitely one of the most romantic) cities in the world.

Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy

The Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi)

Most popular post: Romanian Desserts – we shared some traditional dessert recipes from our home contry and we were very happy to know that people enjoyed them.

Papanasi

Most controversial post: we did not find an exact match for this one, be we found that Parasailing in Golden Sands, Bulgaria speaks about an outdoor activity not everybody is eager to try :)

Parasailing

Two parasailers in Golden Sands, Bulgaria

Most helpful postWalking Tour Through the Heart of Little Paris – this post features information that we hope will be helpful for everyone visiting for the first time the old centre of Bucharest (the city once called The Little Paris).
Fundatiunea Universitara Carol I

Fundatiunea Universitara Carol I - Carol I Universitary Foundation, hosting the Central University Library of Bucharest

A post whose succes surprised us: Pictures From Amalfi Coast And Naples, Italy – we were touched by the fact that these photos brought beautiful memories to one of our fellow travel bloggers, Katrina Stovold from TourAbsurd.

Napoli (Naples)

A post we feel didn’t get the attention it deserved: European Travel Destinations – Photo Gallery – a collection of photos from Europe that we’ve posted last year, short after we launched our blog. We thought we should give it a second chance now.

Crna Gora (Montenegro)

A view from the beautiful Montenegro

The post that we are most proud of: Travel Plans for 2011: South Africa – this is the first part of a research that we made about South Africa, a place we would love to visit one day (hopefuly this year).

Cape Town Bantry Bay

  1. Great roundup! Trevi Fountain is hard to be beat in the romance department. Stunning picture of Cape Town too. Have you made plans to visit?

      Thanks, Debbie!
Yes, Cape Town is on our list, but we are not sure yet if it’s going to be this year or the next. Anyway, we’re looking forward to it.

Thank you so much for nominating me to this project. It was actually quite reflective and somewhat inspiring thinking about my past posts.

I enjoyed reading your 7 links. I think you guys were right – the European photos were initially underrated as I found them to be beautiful. The desserts were sooo decadent and I learned something new about food which I always appreciate. Overall, wonderful choices & I’m glad you guys were able to bring them back to life.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Sherry. We’re looking forward to read your latest post too.

      Cheers!

It’s always interesting to see what other travel blogger has post for their 7 links. I especially love the desert one. I love sweet stuff

  4. […] Recently we’ve contributed to the My 7 Links project and wrote an article that sums up the most interesting articles and photographs published by us so far – here it is, if you haven’t had the chance to see it before: My 7 Links – Our Contribution to the Project. […]
